On our last day, it was snowing pretty heavily so the chef could not come in and Sat prepared our breakfast. The breakfast was delicious - we probably had less options because there were not many of us staying at the time (we stayed during the week). Andrea did a wonderful job of tailoring the practice to our group and all our skill levels. We also couldn't practice in the dome because of the weather, but the lodge so easily converted to a warm space for us to do our morning meditation and yoga practice with the breathtaking backdrop of snow following among the trees. Actually our indoor shower clogged because of the frozen pipes so we ended up using the shared showers, but Andrea was so accommodating and was even working in our room trying to clear the blockage. Since it was below 0, we could not use the outdoor showers as the pipes would freeze. We went during a bit of a snowstorm, so it was more difficult to get to (definitely needed a car that could drive in the snow) but the added blanket of snow made the property even more breathtakingly beautiful. I stayed at Nectar in January 2020 and what a lovely getaway this was. I would stay again, but would either try staying in a lodge room, or in the bigger cabins. Also, I'm not a fan of having to go outside and across the way to the bathroom. In the a-frame it took a few nights to get the heat figured out - with the big window at the head of the bed, there was a very cold draft. The only downsides I experienced were: I had booked to stay in one of the rooms inside the lodge, but unfortunately something happened with my booking and I had to stay in the a-frame. We were all appropriately spaced and there's a fan blowing air out of the yoga dome. Once I got there I felt totally comforable. I was really concerned about Covid protocols and had several emails back and forth. Love the yoga dome - looking out into the forrest. The breakfasts were vegan and different offerings each morning. The larger cottages have 2 twin or king bed and a loft bed, and outside shower, double sinks, cozy window seat.

The a-frames have shared bathrooms outside, with a double-bed. I've stayed in the a-frame and larger cottages. It's run by the owners Andrea and Sat, so the stay was very personalized. I just completed my second stay at Nectar, and I would stay again and recommend you do too!
